7-Bank Drop Targets

A Bank Drop Targets configuration with seven Drop Targets in a row. Longer than the typical three-to-five bank, the seven-bank presented a demanding completion challenge — often themed around pool or billiard pockets. IPDB catalogs approximately 38 machines featuring this arrangement. Gottlieb favored it heavily, with Hot Shot (1973) and Eight Ball Deluxe (1981) among the best-known examples. The extended target row required precise shooting across the full width of the playfield, rewarding players who could methodically clear every target in the sequence.
