3-in-Line Drop Targets

Three Drop Targets arranged in a line rather than a traditional side-by-side Bank Drop Targets configuration. The in-line arrangement places targets in a sequential path — typically along a lane or channel — so the ball encounters them one after another. IPDB catalogs approximately 8 machines with this configuration, including Fathom (1981) by Bally. The three-stage in-line sequence created a satisfying chain-reaction effect as the ball cleared each target in succession on its way through the lane.
