3-Bank Drop Targets
A group of three Drop Targets arranged in a Bank Drop Targets — the most common bank size in pinball. Completing all three targets in the bank awards a bonus, lights a feature, or advances a game objective, then the targets reset for another round. The three-bank configuration appears on approximately 305 IPDB-cataloged machines, more than any other bank size, with notable examples including Flash (1978), Gorgar (1979), and Black Knight (1980). Its compact footprint allowed designers to fit multiple banks on a single playfield, creating layered completion challenges across the layout.
